Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education is an international, double blind peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for the examination of policies, theories and practices related to discourse and communication for sustainable education. Since contemporary discourse study has extended its field to the study of multifaceted contexts of discourse, it is able to be integrated in the broader study of the phenomena of communication in relation to sustainable education. The journal Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education publishes research articles and reviews. Its diversity is apparent in the variety of its theories, methods and approaches, thus avoiding the frequent limitation to one school, approach, academic branch. The only criteria will be the quality and the originality of its articles. The journal Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education welcomes articles which explore inspirational ideas in sustainable education, are written in innovative ways or are presented in experimental ways. It does not have article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges.

Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Article Processing Charge (APC)

To publish in the Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education, authors are not required to pay an Article Processing Charge.

Peer Review process:

All manuscripts are normally reviewed by at least two reviewers (in addition to the Editor-in-chief). Refereeing is anonymous unless a referee chooses otherwise. Referees comments are passed intact to authors, apart from occasional editing. Proofs should be returned to the Editor-in-chief as soon as possible. The Editorial board has the right to reject a manuscript if after the first review it is submitted repeatedly with unsatisfactory corrections. The selection of manuscripts for inclusion in the Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education will be based on these reviews.

Publication Ethics

The journal strictly adheres to generally accepted principles of publication ethics. Publication ethics of the journal represents a summary of moral principles editor, reviewers and authors adhere to. The purpose is to introduce the standards required and observed when publishing the journal to everyone concerned.

Originality of the manuscript

For publication in the Journal of Lifelong Learning only original manuscripts are accepted which has not already been published anywhere else. The editor does not accept manuscripts which are currently submitted for review process to another journal or publisher. The editor does the primary assessment of originality. Assessment of originality is subject to review process. In case that editor or reviewer discovers conflict in originality of the manuscript (plagiarism), author or the group of authors will be notified and the review process will be ended.
