The first issue of the Annals of the West University of Timisoara, was published in 1963 under the name of Mathematical and Physical Sciences Series, and it was issued on yearly basis ever since. Since 2002 the journal is being published in a new graphical format, as the Annals of the West University of Timisoara, Physics Series. The journal welcomes manuscripts presenting information not previously published in journals, in the areas of Materials Science, Theoretical and Computational Physics, Applied Physics, Medical Physics.
