Reward management should be considered as the main concern of managers and human resource management due to challenges of new investments (talent utilization and productivity). This study aims to investigate the dimensions of reward from both standpoints of managers and employees. In this research project, the significance and priority of rewards by employees have been examined in line with the reward model designed by structural-interpretive modeling by managers and supervisors. The model presented in this study can be applied as a foundation for further research. The results indicate that financial rewards have attracted more attention from both standpoints and work-life balance is of remarkable importance for employees.

Increasing significance of brand equity encourages to analyse brand equity concept, its dimensions, and their impact on purchase intentions. Understanding why customers are willing to purchase certain food brands can help both retailers, and food product’s manufacturers build brands and compete in the market. Thus, the <italic>aim</italic> of this research is to evaluate the impact of brand equity dimensions on purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania. <italic>Research methods</italic>: literature analysis, comparative, systematic analysis, questionnaire survey as a quantitative method, data analysis, regression analysis was used to achieve the aim. Results indicate that brand awareness doesn’t have significant impact on purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania. Brand image, perceived quality and brand trust are deeply associated with purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania and influence purchase intentions in a given order by their impact.

Digitalization of the economy and society of countries creates new opportunities for sustainable socioeconomic development. The level and directions of the impact of digitalization on economic growth require assessment and determination of national differences that is the aim of the given study. The paper reveals the peculiarities of the international experience of tracking the impact of digitalization on economic growth and sustainable economic development. Based on the approbation of the authors’ methodology, the study determines the quantitative measures and assesses the impact of digitalization on sustainable economic growth at the national level. The authors have developed forecast scenarios for the digital sector development to achieve the targets of economic growth contained in the development strategies of Ukraine until 2030.

The author systematizes approaches to the concept of digital economy and presents an analysis of the key indicators of digitalization development in the countries worldwide. The pace of economy digitalization in the world community is compared based on the increase of expenditures for ICT accompanied by mass digitalization. The author investigates main priorities of the development of digital economy of Belarus, analyzes technological indicators of the development of the digital economy of Belarus in comparison with the indicators of developed countries and countries with economies in transition. The research consideres industrial and informational scenarios for the development of the Belarusian economy. Object of research: digital economy as a basis of economic development of Belarus. Purpose of research: analysis of the digital transformation of the Belarus economy in comparison with developed countries and countries with economies in transition. In studies devoted to the problem of tourism development in the host regions (destinations), the economic component is always taken into account, sometimes the environmental component, and almost never the sociocultural component is taken into account. However, today the problem of organizing investment in the tourism business, taking into account the environmental and cultural impact, is becoming more and more urgent. It causes a great practical need for conducting research on the investment process in the tourism business and theoretical justification of the choice of areas of investment activity activation in compliance with the criteria of economic efficiency, sociocultural sustainability and environmental safety. In the course of writing the article, the authors set a goal to demonstrate the possibilities of taking into account cultural factors in the process of modeling the socioeconomic sustainability of regional tourist clusters based on qualitative methods. Qualitative methods were chosen as the methodological basis for modeling, which allow us to systematize and formalize the main patterns of development and identify the vector of the most effective use of available resources. The formation of models describing the economic, environmental and sociocultural sustainability of the destination, which allow identifying key factors of sustainable development, can help ensure a long-term positive effect from the development of tourism in the region. The results of this study have theoretical and practical significance. They can be used as a basis for further scientific research and can also be used in the practical activities of tourism business entities, as well as state and local authorities and other stakeholders in the process of analytical justification of investment activities implemented on the basis of the principles of sustainable development.

Regional Tourism Clusters Sustainability Modeling Taking into Account Sociocultural Factors

In today’s world, there is more and more discussions of high production and sales volumes and the abundant global consumption it generates. At the international level, environmental consciousness is beginning to escalate both among businesses and among ordinary consumers. Thus, to find out what marketing activities can help attract different consumers to build a green brand, the research problem arises: what impact does green marketing have on the perceived value of the brand by consumers? Research object: the impact of green marketing on the perception of the brand value of X and Y generation consumers in Lithuanian market. Research aim is to theoretically analyze the concept of green marketing, its components, development, and previous research on the impact of green marketing on the perceived brand value of consumers and to conduct an empirical study to develop green marketing mix recomendations making an impact on perceived brand value of X and Y generations in Lithuania. To achieve the set goals and test the set hypotheses, the research will use two research methods: a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview with green marketing experts and green business representatives. Three research hypotheses were made: price is the factor, influencing consumers of generation X more, than generation Y; generation Y consumers are more interested in green products; environmental awareness of brands has less influence on generation X than to generation Y.

Taking into account the fact that in the current world, digital technologies are becoming drivers of innovations that affect the economic environment, contributing to the solution of complex problems and the emergence of new opportunities for differentiation, the impact of digital transformation on the innovative development of economic systems is a relevant research. The purpose of the article is to study the impact of digitalization on the innovative development of economic systems in modern conditions, which made it possible to identify the directions of efforts to ensure the innovative development of economic systems in the digitalization conditions. In order to identify the impact of digital transformation on the innovative development of economic systems, this study chose a methodological basis in the form of a systemic approach, which makes it possible to simultaneously take into account general scientific, general economic and applied aspects of the impact of digital transformation on the innovative development of economic systems. The most common problems of innovative development of economic systems are singled out and it is substantiated that it is possible to eliminate their negative impact on innovative development due to the processes of digital transformation. Digitalization tools and their impact on the economic systems’ development are identified, including: cloud technologies, heterogeneous data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, robotics, virtual and augmented reality. The determinants of the innovative development of economic systems in the digitalization conditions are substantiated. The advantages of the impact of digitalization on the economic systems’ development have been proven. The directions of efforts to ensure the innovative development of economic systems in the digitalization conditions are outlined. The innovative development of economic systems in the digitalization conditions in the form of closed functional dependence is presented.

A Local Action Group (LAG) is an association aiming to implement the LEADER rural development policy programme, to create and develop partnerships and to make a significant contribution to the management of rural development. LAGs draw up local development strategies for the territory they represent, which are implemented by rural community and business organisations and local authorities in cooperation with the social partners. LAGs bring together the economic and social partners operating in an area, involve the local population in decision-making processes and provide advice. The paper aims to answer the question: how is the essence of LEADER programme fulfilled - creating links between the rural economy and development actions. The research problem is investigated using the methods of scientific literature analysis, analysis of strategic and political documents, systematisation, case studies and other methods. The study found that the strategies were developed taking into account the existing characteristics of the area and the expectations of the population, and involved the involvement of key stakeholders: municipal and district staff, representatives of business and rural communities, and invited consultants. The strategies have been developed in line with LEADER principles, the local development strategies have an integrated approach. It integrates the activities of different sectors, the whole project or specific groups, and strengthens the links between key economic, social, cultural and environmental actors and sectors.

The reform of decentralization of public power and management, which was carried out in Ukraine by transferring power and resources from central authorities to the level of united territorial communities (UTCs) and districts, makes increased requirements for the management of the process of cohesion and development of these socio-spatial formations on the basis of inclusiveness. Given this, the article substantiates the need to build system management an inclusive development of UTCs and districts identified as convergent type rural-urban agglomerations. The orientation of the redistribution of power and its consequences for the inclusivity of these agglomeration formations was found, the value of this phenomenon was revealed to overcome socio-spatial disproportions, determine the structure and measurements of system model management of inclusive development of these agglomerations. Theoretical generalizations and practical recommendations made according to the results of the study are distinguished by scientific novelty and are important for the post-war restoration of Ukraine.

The article is devoted to the formation of methodological provisions for the mechanism of the branding development of agrarian regions in the conditions of the European integration. The research is based on systemic and synergistic approaches. General scientific and special methods were used to achieve the outlined research goal, namely: method of structural and logical analysis, method of dynamic series and index, methods of induction and deduction, methods of system analysis and generalization, structuring method, method of system analysis, the method of abstraction and formalization, graphic method. By the branding of an agrarian region, the authors understand the long-term process of creating a brand of an agrarian region, based on a systematic approach, which involves forming and conveying to target groups the existing advantages of the region in the field of agro-industrial production through the formation of an attractive image. The goals of branding of agricultural regions are outlined. External and internal factors of influence on the development of the brand of agrarian regions have been studied. The mechanism for the branding development of agrarian regions is proposed.

The article analyses food security in the Baltic States and identifies the main factors that determine it. The aim is to assess the level and differences in food security in the Baltic States. In order to assess the impact of food security factors in the Baltic States, a research methodology has been developed that includes a system of indicators at both national and regional levels. Food prices and income have been found to have the greatest impact on food security, especially for the poor. The results of the research can be used in investigating the problem of ensuring food security in the countries of the European Union and in preparing scientific studies on issues of ensuring food security.

The meta-statistics cover the following main aspects of the government’s policy of promoting entrepreneurship and other related instruments in the current economic development context. The prospects and threats of sustainable development of the business sector are highlighted. The main components of the sustainability of the business structure functioning have been determined. The main stages of the formation of the state business support policy were studied. It is substantiated that the current realities of the digital economy formation form new requirements for operating conditions and ensuring sustainable development, including through the implementation of digital transformations in all aspects of the business processes functioning. An instrumental basis for the state policy implementation of entrepreneurship support in the sustainable development context has been formed. The research is devoted to theoretical and applied organizational grounds for evaluating the effectiveness of public administration in the region in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and improve methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of public administration in the region in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals. The article tests the authors’ hypothesis on the adequacy of substantiation of methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of public administration in the region, which leads to the significant implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The dependence of the calculations on the selected system of indexes and indicators that determine the current profile of the region is confirmed, it illustrates the state of the economy, human development and environmental safety relative to the reference (average, target, maximum possible under these conditions) state and vector, and also characterizes the direction and speed of the region towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is determined that the largest vector length is in Kherson region, which indicates that in the region on a number of economic indicators achieved higher results during the study period than in other regions of the Black Sea region and on average in other regions of Ukraine.

The progressive activity of agro-industrial production in the context of imperfect competition, turbulence of the environment and unexpected market challenges in the agro-industrial market because of spread of COVID-19 should be ensured by the most effective selection of the optimal innovation and investment program. Such program must be adapted to the realities of today, provide effective innovation projects and financial resources for their implementation support. This can be achieved due to the formation of a comprehensive innovation and investment program for multidirectional projects taking into account the required amount of money at all stages of risky innovative activities implementation. In this regard, the aim of the article is to conceptualize the implementation of the innovation and investment program in the activities of agro-industrial enterprises using an adaptive model of the optimal selection of the most effective projects or diversification of existing ones and planning their intrusion into the consumer market by choosing the optimal financial strategy for innovation support. To achieve the aim, the following methods were used: observation, system analysis, economic and mathematical and experimental modeling, abstract-logical and graphical method. The economic and mathematical model developed by the authors can be used in the practical activity of agro-industrial enterprises. This model enables to determine a promising strategy of innovative development and form the target programs for their financial support under conditions of limited resources and market changes in agriculture.
