Increasing significance of brand equity encourages to analyse brand equity concept, its dimensions, and their impact on purchase intentions. Understanding why customers are willing to purchase certain food brands can help both retailers, and food product’s manufacturers build brands and compete in the market. Thus, the <italic>aim</italic> of this research is to evaluate the impact of brand equity dimensions on purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania. <italic>Research methods</italic>: literature analysis, comparative, systematic analysis, questionnaire survey as a quantitative method, data analysis, regression analysis was used to achieve the aim. Results indicate that brand awareness doesn’t have significant impact on purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania. Brand image, perceived quality and brand trust are deeply associated with purchase intentions buying food products in Lithuania and influence purchase intentions in a given order by their impact.

Digitalization of the economy and society of countries creates new opportunities for sustainable socioeconomic development. The level and directions of the impact of digitalization on economic growth require assessment and determination of national differences that is the aim of the given study. The paper reveals the peculiarities of the international experience of tracking the impact of digitalization on economic growth and sustainable economic development. Based on the approbation of the authors’ methodology, the study determines the quantitative measures and assesses the impact of digitalization on sustainable economic growth at the national level. The authors have developed forecast scenarios for the digital sector development to achieve the targets of economic growth contained in the development strategies of Ukraine until 2030.

Reward management should be considered as the main concern of managers and human resource management due to challenges of new investments (talent utilization and productivity). This study aims to investigate the dimensions of reward from both standpoints of managers and employees. In this research project, the significance and priority of rewards by employees have been examined in line with the reward model designed by structural-interpretive modeling by managers and supervisors. The model presented in this study can be applied as a foundation for further research. The results indicate that financial rewards have attracted more attention from both standpoints and work-life balance is of remarkable importance for employees.

In today’s world, there is more and more discussions of high production and sales volumes and the abundant global consumption it generates. At the international level, environmental consciousness is beginning to escalate both among businesses and among ordinary consumers. Thus, to find out what marketing activities can help attract different consumers to build a green brand, the research problem arises: what impact does green marketing have on the perceived value of the brand by consumers? Research object: the impact of green marketing on the perception of the brand value of X and Y generation consumers in Lithuanian market. Research aim is to theoretically analyze the concept of green marketing, its components, development, and previous research on the impact of green marketing on the perceived brand value of consumers and to conduct an empirical study to develop green marketing mix recomendations making an impact on perceived brand value of X and Y generations in Lithuania. To achieve the set goals and test the set hypotheses, the research will use two research methods: a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview with green marketing experts and green business representatives. Three research hypotheses were made: price is the factor, influencing consumers of generation X more, than generation Y; generation Y consumers are more interested in green products; environmental awareness of brands has less influence on generation X than to generation Y.

In the context of globalization of the national economy, the agri-food sector as one of the leading business players faces a significant number of challenges, particularly the problem of ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises on both domestic and foreign markets. Implementation of management strategies aimed at the introduction of new technologies in business processes allows increasing the competitiveness of national agricultural enterprises based on digitalization. However, to succeed, it is necessary to provide an adequate personnel management strategy that meets the imperative of the integrated management strategy of the enterprise. Attention is drawn to personnel management strategies, which play an important role in the implementation of the motivational mechanism to achieve strategic goals through the effective realization of the labor potential of the agricultural enterprise. The key elements of any motivational mechanism are motivators, which are the factors of behavior and efficiency of personnel. Many theories describe the mechanisms of action of various motivators and their classifications, but the issues of using various motivators as key elements of the system of strategic personnel management at agri-food enterprises based on digitalization remain insufficiently studied. The purpose of the study is to conduct an analysis of the features of the application of personnel management strategies of agricultural enterprises focused on staff motivation, as well as to determine the level of influence of external and internal motivators on efficiency in agri-food enterprises based on digitalization. The research was conducted using a unique questionnaire to accumulate data. The methods of descriptive statistics were used to analyze the received data and to define the peculiarities of using the motivational mechanism in the agri-food industry. Regression analysis using an artificial neural network was performed to determine the impact of various motivators on productivity. The study has shown that national agricultural enterprises apply strategies based on motivational mechanisms that involve various motivators of both internal and external nature. However, the external motivators have been much better implemented, and above all salary as a key element of the motivational mechanism is used. At the same time, internal motivators are also important for the staff of agricultural enterprises. Therefore, the simultaneous use of external motivators and the development of internal motivators in competitive HR strategies are important.

The author investigates main priorities of the development of digital economy of Belarus, analyzes technological indicators of the development of the digital economy of Belarus in comparison with the indicators of developed countries and countries with economies in transition. The research consideres industrial and informational scenarios for the development of the Belarusian economy. Object of research: digital economy as a basis of economic development of Belarus. Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has added new challenges, including the need to review the functionality of government authorities, budget sequestration, postponement of classification for the recovery period, and retention of highly qualified personnel. To ensure the sustainability and coherence of government institutions and their development, there is an urgent need to implement a reform of the remuneration system of civil servants, taking into account possible risks. The purpose of the study is to highlight and analyse the model of the remuneration system of civil servants based on the classification of positions, challenges and prospects for its implementation under martial law. Within the article, the following methods were used: formalization method, synthesis and abstraction method, abstract and logical method, dialectical method, comparative method, system method, cartographic method, questionnaires method, induction and deduction method, graphic method. It has been proven that there is an urgent need to approve the legislative framework as soon as possible, which will allow the introduction of a transparent, competitive and balanced wage system, taking into account the advantages, disadvantages and risks of the new system.

Prospects for Reforming the Remuneration System of Civil Servants Under Martial Law

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a global standard of sustainable development priorities and goals at economic, social, and environmental levels. Public projects contribute to the implementation of the SDGs because their priority is to generate economic and social benefits for society and to preserve the environment. Objective answers about project alternatives can only be obtained by evaluating them from several perspectives and using several indicators rather than a single dominant one, i.e., by applying multi-criteria evaluation methods. The research problem stems from the diversity of impacts of public projects, the complexity of their identification, and the need for their comprehensive evaluation. Research aim: After having analysed the specific characteristics of public projects, to develop a methodology for evaluating them in the light of the SDGs and to empirically test this methodology. Research methods: synthesis of theoretical insights, situation modelling, logical analysis, case study, and multi-criteria evaluation method SAW (Simple Additive Weighting).
The main outcome of the research is the development of a methodology for the evaluation of public projects in relation to the implementation of the SDGs, which includes four main steps: analysing the objectives and expected outcomes of the projects under evaluation; identifying the impact of the project on the implementation of the SDGs; determining the significance of the impact of the project on the implementation of the SDGs; and combining the evaluation indicators into a single aggregated indicator. Based on the developed methodology, an empirical study was conducted to evaluate 10 investment ideas of one municipality and to select the most efficient investment option in terms of sustainability.

The theoretical and methodological principles of assessing the potential of agricultural regions as prerequisites for the formation of territory branding strategy are considered. The stages of using the branding of the agricultural region as a strategic development tool and the components of the brand of the agricultural region in the context of developing a branding strategy are determined. The importance of taking into account the complexity of the use of potential components and their impact on the competitiveness of the region has been updated. The list of problems, the solution of which is aimed at the use of the branding strategy of the agricultural region, is defined. A methodical approach to assessing the potential is proposed based on the definition of the synergistic agricultural potential of the region, which acts as a comprehensive indicator that unites a wide range of resources of the region’s agrarian sector. The components of the synergistic agrarian potential, which include indicators of labor, economic and resource potential, are substantiated.

The purpose of this scientific work is to justify the organizational and economic principles of activation of the attraction of investment resources in the development of economic systems in current conditions. The methodological basis of the research is the methodology of the system approach, which makes it possible to obtain a synergistic effect from the activation of the attraction of investment resources for all economic entities. The updating of the factors necessary for the functioning of organizational and economic activities to ensure the activation of the attraction of investment resources made it possible to identify the organizational basis for ensuring a favorable investment climate, which include the identification of priority areas of economic activity and investment territories, the provision of a clear regulatory principle of regulation of investment relations in the economy, the use of adaptive the principle of regulation of investment processes, the implementation of programs at the state and regional levels to ensure the activation of the investment process. The economic methods of regulating the activation of investment processes are detailed. The expediency of creating investment activation centers at the local and state levels is substantiated, and the directions of their activities regarding the activation of investment processes are detailed. The proposed methodical approach using the method of analysis of hierarchies makes it possible for business entities to choose the most optimal option for attracting investment resources through a pairwise comparison of criteria according to systematic groups of diversification of investment resources sources and indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects.

Organizational and Economic Principles of Activation of the Attraction of Investment Resources in the Development of Economic Systems

Systematized information on exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves and their extraction, which is published in the reports of leading mining enterprises of Ukraine. Stakeholder groups have been identified that have certain information needs regarding the activities of mineral resource exploration and evaluation enterprises. The conducted studies proved that information is not sufficiently fully disclosed in the reporting of entities that conduct exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves and their extraction. Therefore, the prospect of future scientific research on this subject is the development of the format of the accounting report on the results of exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves in accordance with the information needs of a wide range of interested parties. It was determined that the inconsistency and ambiguity of the formulations of Ukrainian and international standards, primarily in the context of the identification and accounting methods of exploration and evaluation assets, proved the expediency of streamlining the classification of assets in order to separate exploration and evaluation assets from other types of assets used in exploration and evaluation of reserves of mineral resources. The proposed author’s concept of the accounting and reporting representation of exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves, taking into account the information needs of various groups of stakeholders, which will contribute to the efficiency of the activities of enterprises in the exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves.

The research is devoted to theoretical and applied organizational grounds for evaluating the effectiveness of public administration in the region in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and improve methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of public administration in the region in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals. The article tests the authors’ hypothesis on the adequacy of substantiation of methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of public administration in the region, which leads to the significant implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The dependence of the calculations on the selected system of indexes and indicators that determine the current profile of the region is confirmed, it illustrates the state of the economy, human development and environmental safety relative to the reference (average, target, maximum possible under these conditions) state and vector, and also characterizes the direction and speed of the region towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is determined that the largest vector length is in Kherson region, which indicates that in the region on a number of economic indicators achieved higher results during the study period than in other regions of the Black Sea region and on average in other regions of Ukraine.

The progressive activity of agro-industrial production in the context of imperfect competition, turbulence of the environment and unexpected market challenges in the agro-industrial market because of spread of COVID-19 should be ensured by the most effective selection of the optimal innovation and investment program. Such program must be adapted to the realities of today, provide effective innovation projects and financial resources for their implementation support. This can be achieved due to the formation of a comprehensive innovation and investment program for multidirectional projects taking into account the required amount of money at all stages of risky innovative activities implementation. In this regard, the aim of the article is to conceptualize the implementation of the innovation and investment program in the activities of agro-industrial enterprises using an adaptive model of the optimal selection of the most effective projects or diversification of existing ones and planning their intrusion into the consumer market by choosing the optimal financial strategy for innovation support. To achieve the aim, the following methods were used: observation, system analysis, economic and mathematical and experimental modeling, abstract-logical and graphical method. The economic and mathematical model developed by the authors can be used in the practical activity of agro-industrial enterprises. This model enables to determine a promising strategy of innovative development and form the target programs for their financial support under conditions of limited resources and market changes in agriculture.
