<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Paradoxically, the more educated and wealthier the society is, the greater the negative impact on the environment, because the consumption needs are higher, which leads to an increase in the pollution of the environmental factors. This leads us to the conclusion that, in order to achieve sustainable development, education of the population is not sufficient. The link between sustainable development and education is very complex, and the challenge faced by mankind is to educate the population to become a factor of change.</p></abstract>
