ANIMAL SCIENCE PAPERS AND REPORTS (Anim. Sci. Pap. Rep.) is an international journal quarterly published by the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Jastrzębiec issued in English that aims to advance animal science and animal production.
It is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal dedicated to research on all aspects of genetics and selection in farm animal species and in other species that provide novel and/or relevant insights into the genetics of farm animals. Moreover, the journal will publish high-quality science aimed at increasing the understanding of reproduction, animal biotechnology, physiology, nutrition, ethology and animal welfare in all the production and companion animal species. The journal publishes research articles and reviews mainly involved in pigs, poultry, beef cattle, cows, goats and sheep, but the studies involving aquatic and laboratory animal species that address fundamental questions related to livestock are also welcome. The journal encompasses also a research area including feedstuffs and animal products.
ANIMAL SCIENCE PAPERS AND REPORTS is essential reading for all animal scientists, stakeholders and policy makers interested in agricultural, biomedical, health veterinary and environmental sciences. Impacts should be of international relevance.
