<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p> This paper looks into statistics, classic and modern research of women in the management and of women in Information and Computer Technology (ICT) industry. The subject of women in the management, the effect on the companies and their culture and factors underlying women’s management success has been raised in the 70’s, but there was not much research into the ICT industry until 90’s, with quite significant literature in the subject in the last decade. Based on the literature and current management thinking review paper aims to indentify the factors that influence first women choice of ICT as business career and second - women success in the management. The objective is to identify a framework that will be used as a reference in author’s qualitative research into woman in the ICT management in different cultures.</p></abstract>
