College students in higher vocational colleges and universities today face an accelerated pace of study and life, which, when combined with the challenging job market post-graduation, intensifies their psychological burden. As a result, college students experience different levels of mental health problems in their daily lives, studies, work, interpersonal relationships, and self-perception. According to the ambiguity and complexity of the psychological problems of college students in higher vocational colleges, a fuzzy, comprehensive judgment model is established. Then, the neural network psychological prediction model is constructed, through which higher vocational colleges and universities can predict the students who may have psychological problems in advance so as to give corresponding attention or measures in time. In the empirical test, the article takes the college students of a higher vocational college as the empirical research object and evaluates their mental health status. Then, the neural network prediction model designed in this paper is analyzed for its performance and tested for its prediction effect.
