<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>Enormously studied by specialists, the leadership of organizations is a primordial issue because the leader’s style conditions the efficiency of any social organization. This is one of the reasons why the current scientific concerns focus on studying the ways of improving leadership and the choice of leaders who have the skills and capabilities to successfully perform such functions. This paper deals with the characteristics of the military organization and the complex environment in which it operates, imposing major demands on the military leaders, who must develop certain skills and abilities in order to cope with the wide range of challenges they are confronted with on the modern battlefield. It also points to the features of charismatic leaders, drawing the attention to the relationship between subordinates and leaders, a relationship that is based on an emotional, spiritual, even non-rational bond between leaders and followers.</abstract>

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>The fundamental objective of the military units’ logistic system during peacetime is ensuring necessary logistic support for the military personnel to properly carry out the training and instruction activities in order to fulfill the missions assigned to the military units at every hierachical level. Concurrently, the logistic system of the military units during peacetime tracks the supply of material assets for emergency situations, crisis, mobilization and war. Achieving logistic support for military units during peacetime depends on a number of principles that underpin the provision of high-quality logistic support necessary for the fulfillment of the basic mission and the fundamental objectives of each military structure.</abstract>

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>The more advanced digital economy and society a country has the more exposed it is to cyber threats. Consequently, countries with advanced digital economy and digital infrastructure naturally need to pay more attention to protecting cyber space. Today it is a national security issue and it can no longer be argued that cyber security is its indispensable part. Accordingly, a national cyber security strategy has to be built on national security strategy. That is the main reason for using the word “cornerstone” in the title of this study. The relation between national security and national cyber security means a specific context, which is one of the subjects of our examination in this study. Today, most countries have a cyber security strategy. However, these strategies are mostly static documents that do not or only partially can handle the dynamism that characterizes cyberspace. This paper focuses on the key issues that are needed for developing a usable cyber security strategy.</abstract>

National Cyber Security as the Cornerstone of National Security

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title> Our research aims to identify the importance of anthropometry measurements and functional testing of two groups that practice sport different, the first group, the experimental group was formed by 25 students (age 10 ± 2.1 years, 13 boys and 12 girls), that practiced 2 hours a week physical education and other 2 hours a week basketball and volleyball optional courses; and the second group formed by 25 students (age 10 ± 1.8 years, 14 boys and 11 girls), that practiced 2 hours a week classic physical education.The anthropometric tests included in the research were the measurement of height, weight, different length of superior and inferior segments, bust, spread of arms, biacromial diameter, bitrohanterian diameter and chest perimeter.Results showed that children from the experimental group, that practiced more sports activities, developed more quickly and had better proportionality index then the sample group. Statistically significant differences were determined within the experimental group both in the initial and in the final tests (p&lt;0.05), also significant differences were discovered between the experimental and the sample group in the final measurement (p&lt;0.05).Conclusions of this research showed that more physical activities can influence the development of children both in anthropometric way and in functional and health related.</abstract>

This study introduces a groundbreaking framework, named “CodeSentry”, employing a transformer-based model for vulnerability detection in software code. “CodeSentry” leverages a finely-tuned version of the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT), optimized for pinpointing vulnerable code patterns across various benchmark datasets. This approach stands apart by its remarkable computational efficiency, making it suitable for real-time applications − a significant advancement over traditional, resource-intensive deep learning models like CNNs and LSTMs. Empirical results showcase “CodeSentry” achieving an impressive 92.65% accuracy in vulnerability detection, surpassing existing state-of-the-art methods such as SyseVR and VulDeBERT. The literature on college attrition rates has revealed that self-efficacy and locus of control play a critical role in academic performance and retention. However, despite the importance of students’ attitudes in academic performance, there have been few studies focused on how to develop students’ self-efficacy and internal locus of control. We examined the impact of motivational book reading on the promotion of self-efficacy and locus of control by leveraging a mixed method study, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. One hundred diverse, business students participated in the research, where they read one motivational book and wrote essays to reflect their learning and took surveys that measured the quantitative variables before and after reading the book. The analysis revealed that motivational book reading significantly increased self-efficacy and locus of control of the participants. The qualitative analysis revealed that students expressed improvement in self-efficacy and internal locus of control after reading the book. The limitations, practical implications, and future research implications are discussed in this paper.

Enhancing software quality and security hinges on the effective identification of vulnerabilities in source code. This paper presents a novel approach that combines pattern recognition training with cloze-style examination techniques in a semi-supervised learning framework. Our methodology involves training a language model using the SARD and Devign datasets, which contain numerous examples of vulnerable code. During training, specific code sections are deliberately obscured, challenging the model to predict the hidden tokens. Through rigorous empirical testing, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in accurately identifying code vulnerabilities. Our results highlight the significant advantages of employing pattern recognition training alongside cloze-style questioning, leading to improved accuracy in detecting vulnerabilities in source code.

The results, which were demonstrated by practical experiences of the different possible configurations for the engine studied showed high potential for reducing emissions, but the most suitable alternative is the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).

Because the failure to provide adequate cybersecurity controls within the critical infrastructure sectors renders the country open to an attack that could have a debilitating effect on security, national public health, safety, and economic security, this matter is so vital that there is the Presidential Policy Directive (PPD) 21 Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience advances a national policy to strengthen and maintain secure, functioning and resilient critical infrastructure. An organization identified as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has the mission to be the risk advisor for the United States (US). Other organizations, such as the National Security Agency (NSA), have approved a specific Knowledge Unit (KU) to address cybersecurity for critical infrastructures associated with doctoral-level granting programs. To address this challenge, it is necessary to identify threats better and defend against them while mitigating risks to an acceptable level. Only then can a nation build a more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future while defending against present-day bad actors as cyberwarfare, cyber espionage, and cybersecurity attacks are the modern-day threats that need to be addressed in planning, designing, implementation, and maintenance. Therefore, the researchers developed a case study reviewing threats against different sectors defined in the PPD.</abstract>
