The quarterly aims to promote knowledge and innovative solutions in the field of production engineering as well as exchange of experience between science and industry. The journal publishes original scientific papers (including theoretical, experimental and practical articles) of specialists related with European research centres and business practice, with particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe.
The journal promotes the development of both theoretical and practical knowledge of a new, dynamically evolving discipline of production engineering. The scope of the journal includes following issues:
- knowledge, project and innovation management,
- manufacturing engineering and maintenance,
- quality, environmental and safety management,
- social-economic aspects of production engineering.
Papers presenting a multi-faceted approach to the analysed issues are particularly welcome. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of production engineering, the journal may also be of interest to representatives of related sciences.

Article Processing Charge:
All articles published in Management Systems in Production Engineering (p-ISSN 2299-0461, e-ISSN 2450-5781) are published in full open access. Authors are asked to pay an article processing charge (APC) of 400 EUR +23% VAT per accepted paper. The APC only applies if the paper is accepted for publication after double-blind review and possible revision of the manuscript. There are no submission charges.
