<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>This article is a research on the effect of material segregations due to squeeze parameters on mechanical properties of high pressure die cast parts. The technology of squeezing is applied in high pressure die casting technology with the aim to improve the internal material health of the castings from aluminium alloys, such as AlSi9Cu3(Fe), components incorporated in assemblies as mechanical and hydraulic parts. The objective of this article is to determinate the influence of the secondary effects of squeeze technology on the mechanical properties of parts produced from AlSi9Cu3(Fe) alloys, with HPDC technology.</abstract>

The evolution of the vehicle industry, as well as the sudden increase in competition between manufacturing companies, dictates the increase in the obligations of manufacturers to meet the increasingly complex requirements of users, in terms of ergonomics, comfort, safety, as well as environmental protection. Researchers have investigated the factors influencing the ergonomics of the vehicle interior which is very practical to improve safety and driving performance in addition, it can significantly reduce the development costs and the development cycle of new vehicle concepts, but the concept of ergonomics was not clearly articulated from a human perspective. This study aims to interpret the definition of ergonomics in the context of the interior of the vehicles and also in the study the influencing factors of the ergonomics of the index layer of the human-machine interaction interface, in the central console of the vehicle, are identified. The influencing factors are analyzed by creating and visualizing bibliometric networks in VOSViewer.

Considerations Regarding the Ergonomics of the Vehicle Interior

The exoskeletons surface as useful devices in alleviating the Intensive Care Units (ICU) medical stuff’s quality of life. A goal of manufacturers and users of exoskeletons is to determine the probability of proper functioning and increase their lifespan. Considering the extremely small number of exoskeletons for which the durations (cycles) of operation are known, in order to be able to make predictions on the characteristics of the average durations of operation, we used the bootstrap method. Through this method, starting from a small number of data collected from the exploitation of exoskeletons, a desired number of data "similar" to real data is obtained. We used the data of 10 exoskeletons of the same type and their operating times with which 2000 replicates were generated. The data were processed using the EasyFit program and the functional probabilities of the exoskeletons were deduced. A pilot study was performed in order to find the usefulness of using a passive or active torso support exoskeleton in the ICU for prone positioning. It demonstrated a lower degree of fatigue in the subjects who used the exoskeletons.

Recently, medical databases have expanded rapidly, and the amount of information is huge. This abundance of data appears as a consequence of the new technologies that have been developed in the medical field and that allow easy data collection. The performance of the technique depends on the input data and available resources. Whereas, in Eclat the repeated scanning of the database is eliminated and consumes less time and we can conclude that Eclat is better than Apriori and Fpgrowth. If we refer to the execution time and memory usage, then the FP-Growth algorithm is more efficient than the Eclat algorithm or the Apriori algorithm. If we consider factor other than time, the result may vary from one factor to another.

Finta [2], recently proposed a complex version of iteration procedures for holomorphic functions. The general theorem of the complex iteration function has developed by using the complex mean value theorem and discussed several iterative procedures for holomorphic functions. In this paper, we redevelop the general theorem of the complex iteration function by applying the fundamental theorem of the complex line integral. It is shown that all the results derived in the paper of Finta have been improved by the results of this paper.

Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) researchers spend inexhaustible resources of materials, time and money in determining the objective factors that are important in ensuring acoustic comfort in vehicles. In this paper, the factors that directly influence the interior acoustic pressure level in a heavy-duty vehicle were investigated. It was determined using specific descriptors and different units of measurement in assessment of sound levels and the impact generated by noise, the level of interior acoustic pressure and particular values of some prominent sources of noise in the operation of vehicles (engine, HVAC system), taking into account the factors of insurance and thermal comfort, with the aim of determining the cumulative impact at the board of heavy vehicles due to noise.

The paper studies the corrosion resistance of 40Cr130 in different structural states. The material is thus characterized in the annealed, normalized, quenched, tempered state and, respectively, following a thermochemical treatment.
Good corrosion resistance was found in all states, and substantial improvements were noted following the thermochemical nitriding treatment.

This paper presents a comprehensive review of the literature on hollow tubular structures, with applications ranging from traditional engineering structures to from simple circular tubes to modern corrugated structures. As such it provides an important reference for researchers to have a broad epigrammatic cognizance of the mechanical behavior of these structures. Hollow structures have long been seen as a simple and effective means of light weight structures with high stability under buckling load and energy absorption capability. This has been used in numerous industrial and academic applications. In recent years there have been numerous innovative developments to hollow tubular structures, involving more bewildering and inventive hollow structures which are better than solid structures as well as aesthetically more appealing. The use of corrugation and advanced composite materials are giving an added advantage by the virtue of which researchers can easily alter these structures and can make it beneficial or transform it according to their desired application.

This paper presents the development and implementation of a remote user interface for the ABB robot using the TCP/IP protocol. The study focuses on building a user-friendly interface in Matlab environment that enables precise and secure control of the robot’s operation with an educational support role in teaching the basics of robotics. The remote application offers a simple and intuitive controlling mode, providing users with a firsthand experience of the robot’s capabilities through predetermined actions. Additionally, the advanced mode allows users to test the robot’s functionality and perform simple tasks. The use of asynchronous communication contributes to the stability and performance of the remote control application.

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>The purpose of the paper is to design an extruder to ensure continuous flow of material and retraction of the melted material into the extruder of the printers operating with pellets ABS, PLA or other materials used. The way in which 3D printers work differs from that of plastic injection machines by the fact that for the execution of a piece it is necessary for the extruder to position itself at different points of the surface without depositing the material. If it does not stop the flow of material during the repositioning move, then the executed piece will be compromised. Designed pieces were designed with the help of the Inventor Software and it was determined experimentally whether the extruder is working. It was found that the original design did not fully meet the requirements of the coat-coat process, which is why rethinking of the extruder’s operation and modifications to ensure retraction of the material is necessary.</abstract>

Daily exposure to ambient air pollutants harms human health and the environment. Even though in recent years air quality is a taboo subject discussed and researched by many interested areas, pollution indices often exceed the pollution norms imposed by the authorities in major European cities. In response to these environmental problems, the European Union has created a body of legislation on pollution indicators. On the other hand, World Economic Forum promote the travel tourism competitiveness index (including the pillar of environmental sustainability). The purpose of this paper is to present and analyse the indicators from the environmental sustainability pillar within TTCI (Travel and tourism competitiveness index) and the air pollution indicators, respectively the air quality standards and the pollution norms. As a short result, România exceeds at some indicators and has a lot to improve at the others (Enforcement of environmental regulations).
