The analysis of adverse vaccine events and other adverse events in Poland was performed using reports obtained from the collections kept by the National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene in the period from 27.12.2020 to 28.02.2022 concerning the number of registered cases of Vaccine adverse event and Adverse medical events, taking into account their classification and characteristics. The analysis included registered VAEs and AMEs after COVID-19 vaccines authorized in European Union countries, i.e., Comirnaty (PfizerBioNTech), Spikevax (Moderna), Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), and the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine (. The analysis of the data in the NIZP-PZH reports shows that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccine still outweigh the risk of adverse reactions, including the rare life-threatening symptoms that may occur with all 4 vaccines.
