SAECULUM is a bi-annual international open access journal of social sciences and humanities. Our journal uses double blind peer review evaluation and publishes articles written by well-known researchers, and encourages also young scholars. The articles (studies, essays and book reviews) must be original, up to date with the current state of knowledge, to demonstrate rigorous research and comply to the Romanian and international ethical standards. Every article is checked to avoid plagiarism (http://www.ithenticate.com/)

SAECULUM‘s permanent standing areas are complementary blend of philosophy and aesthetics, literature and criticism, history and collective mentality, journalism, communication, ethics and religion.

SAECULUM permanently has included in its pages reference texts, written by authors from our country and from abroad, which made the journal enjoy the appropriate prestige. The published articles have become, in most cases, consistent bibliographic reference points, being appreciated not only for style, but also for the depth and originality of ideas.

SAECULUM accepts articles in Romanian, English, French and German.

SAECULUM is published in print and online every year, in July and December, and claims no charges for processing and publishing the articles. Since 2019, our journal has a site on the scientific platform SCIENDO - DE GRUYTER.
