Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe (ISSN 1230-3666, e-ISSN 2300-7354) is an international open access, peer-reviewed bimonthly scientific journal devoted to current scientific issues in the field of fibres, textiles, fibre-grade polymers, biopolymers, and fibrous products, as well as general economic problems of textile industry worldwide. It constitutes a forum for the exchange of knowledge and the establishment of mutual contacts for cooperation between scientific centres, as well as between science and industry worldwide.

The journal is owned by The Łukasiewicz-Łódź Institute of Technology located in Łódź, Poland.

The journal will publish high-quality research aimed at increasing knowledge of production and processing of fibre-forming polymers, technology of natural and man-made fibres, textiles and fibrous products including paper products. Also bio- and nano-technology, biodegradation and environmental protection is within the scope of our interests.

We only accept original articles which do not violate any author or patent rights of other persons, and have not been already published or submitted for publication elsewhere. We actively check the submitted manuscripts by screening them for plagiarism.

All submitted manuscripts selected as suitable for Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe journal are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process in order to ensure the high quality of published articles.

Payment policy

  1. The cost of publishing an article is 1 600 EUR net.
  2. After receiving 2 positive reviews and the author's corrections, the Editorial Office will issue an invoice for the publication of the article.
  3. Within 7 days of receiving the invoice, the author must pay the publication fee into the bank account of the publisher.
  4. All bank charges are the responsibility of the author.
  5. If the fee is not paid within the above time limit, the publisher will return the article to the author and will take no further action.
  6. If the payment is incomplete, the publisher will inform the author the missing part must be paid within 7 days or no further action will be taken.
  7. The article submitted to the editorial office must be in a format that complies with the article template.
  8. The maximum number of pages of the submitted article is 30 pages.
  9. The above rules apply to articles submitted after 15 May 2024.
  10. Articles submitted before 15 May 2024 will be charged a net fee of 100 euro per article page.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
