<DIV align=left> The Acta Musei Silesiae, Scientiae Naturales publishes peer-reviewed, innovative, significant research of interest to a wide audience of biological scientists in all areas of biology, all levels of organization, and all groups of organisms. The journal requires authors to frame their research questions and discuss their results in terms of major questions of biology. All manuscripts are evaluated by members of the Editorial board to determine whether the paper should go forward for peer review. Papers sent out for review will, typically, be sent to two independent referees. After a successful review process that does not take longer than 3-4 weeks, the manuscript is accepted and printed within a maximum period of 3 months. Authors always receive PDF file, printed version of the journal and 40 reprints of the article. The main scientific articles (written in English) are published in both print and online versions. Short notes (in English or Czech language) are printed only in paper form. Manuscripts should be sent via e-mail: <A href="mailto:vitezslav.plasek@osu.cz">vitezslav.plasek@osu.cz</A>. The journal Acta Musei Silesiae, Scientiae Naturales does not have article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges. ISSN 2336-3193 (Print) ISSN 2336-3207 (Online) Acta Musei Silesiae, Scientiae Naturales is an English-language international journal publishing original papers on various aspects of biology, biodiversity, biosystematics, phytogeography, molecular biology, evolution and ecology. The journal was established in 1951 and is published continuously - tree times a year - until today. <DIV align=left> Why submit The journal publishes news from the biological researches carried out (not only) in Central Europe. It is printed 3 times a year. Manuscripts that are positively evaluated are within 3-4 months published (online and in paper version). Color photographs and other graphic attachments are welcome. Rejection Rate <UL> <LI>about 45% </LI></UL> Archiving Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in <A href="https://www.portico.org/">Portico</A> - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections. Plagiarism Policy The editorial board is participating in a growing community of <A href="https://www.crossref.org/services/similarity-check/">Similarity Check System's</A> users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process. </DIV>
