The University of Zilina has, since its founding in 1953 as Railway College in Prague, been dedicated to comprehensive research and education in all modes of transport and communication. The need for the exchange of scientific knowledge in the field of transport, with regard to all its directions and modes, has led to the establishment of the international scientific journal Transport Technic and Technology (TTT).

The Transport Technic and Technology journal is a direct successor of the Railway Transport and Logistics journal which was published by the Department of Railway Transport, the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications of the University of Žilina since 2005.

The high scientific level of the journal is guaranteed by experts from the academic sphere and practice from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Croatia, Austria, the Russian Federation and the United Kingdom.

The TTT journal is a comprehensive focused on all transport modes in the field of technics, technology, transport infrastructure, transport engineering, IT, economics, management, ecology and law. The aim of the journal is to publish the latest knowledge of transport research, the exchange of theoretical knowledge and the best practice information between the academic sphere and practice.

TTT journal is published twice a year – in June and December.

Articles published in the TTT journal are reviewed by at least two independent experts, and the scientific level of published articles is guaranteed by the members of Scientific Committee.

All published articles are free of publishing fees and free of authors reward.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.

The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy.
