<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Given increasing requirements for health care services, interprofessional cooperation between healthcare professions has been recently gaining momentum. To ensure that cooperation with other healthcare professionals does not occur for the first time in clinical settings, several projects have been developed over the past years in Germany, aiming to prepare future clinicians for interprofessional cooperation during their study or vocational training programs. The conceptual diversity underlying these projects is reflected for instance in their target groups, as well as in their different structures, contents and aims. The prevailing heterogeneity in this field partly results of structural decisions made by project designers. The present study aims to explore the perspectives of experts involved in the development of those interprofessional education programs. Accordingly, this paper aims to provide information on the perspectives of a population which has until now received little consideration in this context, and to identify and describe opportunities and challenges for the implementation of interprofessional teaching and learning processes.Relevant categories providing a systematic representation of the study results could be extracted based on the content analysis of qualitative, semi-structured expert interviews.The study results show that interprofessional cooperation between health professions is inextricably linked with interprofessional education. At the same time, current projects and publications still rank low on the general and relevant policy-making agenda. This points to the need for the provision of more support and necessary structural and organizational conditions for interprofessional teaching, as well as to significantly intensify discussions on the topic on various levels.</abstract>

<trans-abstract xml:lang="de" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Die interprofessionelle Zusammenarbeit der Gesundheitsprofessionen hat aufgrund steigender gesundheitsbezogener Versorgungsanforderungen zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen. Damit eine Kooperation mit anderen Berufsgruppen aber nicht erst im klinischen Kontext stattfindet, entstanden in den letzten Jahren bundesweit Projekte, die bereits im Rahmen von Ausbildung oder Studium darauf vorbereiten. Die Vielfältigkeit der den Projekten zugrunde gelegten Konzepte spiegelt sich z. B. in den angesprochenen Zielgruppen, dem unterschiedlichen Aufbau, Inhalten und Zielen wider. Dabei ist die vorherrschende Heterogenität nicht zuletzt strukturellen Entscheidungen der Entwickler/-innen geschuldet. Diese Studie untersucht, welche Sichtweisen Experten/-innen, die an der Entstehung von interprofessionellen Bildungsangeboten beteiligt waren, auf interprofessionelles Lehren und Lernen in den Gesundheitsprofessionen haben. Der Beitrag soll damit Erkenntnisse über die Perspektiven einer bisher im Kontext des interprofessionellen Lehrens und Lernens noch wenig beachteten Zielgruppe liefern und daraus identifizierte Chancen sowie Herausforderungen in Bezug auf die Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten interprofessioneller Lehr-Lernprozesse beschreiben.Mittels leitfadengestützter Experten/-inneninterviews, die im Rahmen der qualitativen Untersuchung durchgeführt und inhaltsanalytisch ausgewertet wurden, ließen sich relevante Kategorien extrahieren, welche die Erkenntnisse systematisch abbilden.Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass interprofessionelle Zusammenarbeit der Gesundheitsprofessionen als untrennbar vom interprofessionellen Lehren und Lernen anzusehen ist. Gleichzeitig finden aktuelle Projekte und Veröffentlichungen bisher allgemein und in der rahmengebenden Politik nur untergeordnete Beachtung. Daraus ergibt sich die Notwendigkeit, mehr Unterstützung für die interprofessionelle Lehre und die benötigten strukturell-organisatorischen Rahmenbedingungen anzubieten sowie die Diskussionen darüber auf verschiedenen Ebenen maßgeblich zu intensivieren.</trans-abstract>
