<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Records of 16 species of the family Dolichopodidae from Azerbaijan and Georgia are given. Four species <italic>Campsicnemus armeniacus</italic> Negrobov, Manko, Hrivniak &amp; Obona, 2017, <italic>Chrysotus pennatus</italic> Lichtwardt, 1902, <italic>Medetera kowarzi</italic> Negrobov, 1974, <italic>Rhaphium brevicorne</italic> Curtis, 1835 represent new records for Azerbaijan and increase species richness to 90 taxa. The completed checklist of long-legged flies of Georgia is presented. With five new country records, namely: <italic>Campsicnemus umbripennis</italic> Loew, 1856, <italic>Medetera murina</italic> Becker, 1917, <italic>Medetera truncorum</italic> Meigen, 1824, <italic>Sybistroma crinipes</italic> Stæger, 1842, <italic>Sympycnus pulicarius</italic> (Fallén, 1823), the checklist covers 71 taxa now.</p></abstract>
