In the present text, the author points out the importance of analytical comparison of Celtic and Slavonic languages and cultures. As examples he presents several fragments of this comparison: on the intellectualization of forms of the dual number in Breton and Czech, on the evaluation of the article in Celtic and Slavonic languages and on possible parallels in the external history and the periodization of Celtic and Slavonic languages.
