<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The article examines Father Scrima’s concepts and ideas from published works after 1990 and manuscripts between 1960 and 1980. In these texts, he probes the relationship between mediated and immediate knowledge from a spiritual point of view. The theology of Spirit that Father Scrima develops points towards a liturgical understanding of the world in which mediation finds its meaning and value.</p></abstract>
