In order to obtain a durable anti-ultraviolet and antibacterial cotton fabric, silk fibroin, honeysuckle extract (chlorogenic acid) and citric acid were used to prepare a compound environment-friendly finishing agent, and then the cotton fabric was modified in this paper. Micro-morphology and properties were compared between cotton fabrics finished with a composite solution of silk fibroin/chlorogenic acid/citric acid and those finished first with silk fibroin then chlorogenic acid. Results showed that amidation and esterification crosslinking reactions occurred between the compounds and cotton fibers.
