This paper focuses on the development of micro-concrete mixes used to construct scaled model buildings which needs to be examined by the shaking table test to simulate the key strength and stiffness characteristics of full-scale model. Eighteen trial mixes have been derived from a normal concrete mix to achieve this study. Owing to the vital importance of aggregate type and gradation in achieving appropriately low strength concrete, mixes were developed by replacing a specific portion of coarse aggregate with crushed rubber or crushed glass. In addition to the aggregate replacement, water-cement ratios for other mixes were increased as well. The mechanical properties of these developed micro-concrete mixes have been obtained to provide extensive information concerning the validity of using them for distorted scaled model.
