Exploration on the Application of Neural Network Technology in the Protection and Inheritance of Ethnic Traditional Sports Culture

As an important part of China’s intangible cultural heritage, traditional national sports have a very high status and value, which is not only a form of sports, but also the epitome of China’s sports spirit and even Chinese culture. This paper analyzes the cultural characteristics and value orientation of national traditional sports from the connotation of national traditional sports culture. The motion capture node of ethnic traditional sports was designed using inertial sensors, and the complementary filtering algorithm was used to solve the IMU motion attitude of Kyushu. The HMM model was chosen to label the ethnic traditional sports actions at frame level, and the RBM-based DBN model was combined with the HMM model to establish the ethnic traditional sports action recognition model. The effectiveness of the application of neural network technology was analyzed through motion capture recognition experiments. The tumbling angle range of the national traditional sports action gesture solution using complementary filtering algorithm is between 0.8°~1.0°, and the highest error of action capture is only 0.891mm, and the recognition accuracy of the DBN-HMM model for the national traditional sports action is up to 0.92. Starting from the recognition of the national traditional sports action, combining it with the college physical education curriculum to cultivate the students’ consciousness of the traditional culture and help the inheritance of the national traditional sports culture, we have established a neural network model. This will help the inheritance and innovation of national traditional sports culture.
