With the rise of the Internet, network literature has also arisen, which has interpenetrated with film and television, animation, games, cultural and creative industries and other cultural products, and formed a huge commercial value by mutual integration. This paper adopts the hierarchical analysis method to assess the value of network novel film and television adaptation rights, first assess the value of its adapted film and television works, and then strip out the value of network novel film and television adaptation rights. Eight factors affecting the revenue income from adaptation are selected and they are used as dependent variables to construct the revenue assessment model of film and television adaptations based on the XGBoost algorithm. Finally, taking the web novel Qing Yu Nian, which has been adapted into a movie and television drama, as an example, the revenue assessment model is applied to assess the value of its movie and television adaptation right, so as to explore the development path of the adaptation drama. The results show that the discount rate and conversion rate of the film and television adaptation of the web novel have a greater impact on the value of the copyright, and when the discount rate and conversion rate increase by 0.1, the value of the copyright decreases by 2.37% and increases by 0.98%, respectively. The study is intended to provide some reference significance to the development of other online novels.
