Research on coordinated development of the logistics industry and regional economy based on constraint clustering algorithm

In order to study the relationship between logistics industry and regional economy, this paper first expounds the research method of cluster analysis, then analyzes the characteristics of logistics cluster by constrained cluster method, and analyzes the coordinated development mechanism of logistics industry and regional economy based on this. The research shows that the development of the logistics industry has driven economic development in China and enabled the relevant provinces to achieve considerable progress. However, because China’s vast territory and remote provinces have less origin in the development of the logistics industry than the developed provinces, the logistics industry has played a different role in promoting the development of different provinces. At present, the development of the logistics industry in the western region has a smaller role in promoting the economy than that in the eastern region; the industrial structure of the eastern region is more reasonable than that of the western region.
