Hepatocellular carcinoma and socioeconomic status of a population have a complicated relationship. While the determinants that are associated with increasing the risks of getting the disease are attributing the incidence and prevalence in certain regions, the availability of essential healthcare plays the main role in favourable prognosis and lower mortality rates.
