SocioEconomic Challenges Journal (SEC) is a scientific peer-reviewed journal. This journal is published quarterly (four times a year) by Sumy State University (Ukraine).

On March 30, 2017 of SocioEconomic Challenges Journal (SEC) journal was published. The main objective of this journal is to promote the development of scientific cooperation and international dissemination of theoretical and empirical research, as well as the best world practices for ensuring the stability of social and economic processes in the context of globalization, democratization, ecologization and digitalization of social relations.

Our journal publishes original articles of basic and applied research, conceptual and empirical papers, conference papers, case studies and critical reviews.

The scope of the journal covers selected issues related to:

  • Economic growth;
  • Digitalization of the public sector, social and economic relations;
  • Globalization and international socio-economic ties;
  • Influence of state policy on socio-economic development;
  • Stability and sustainability of socio-economic systems;
  • Greening the economy and society;
  • The economy of corporate and civil sectors and households, entrepreneurship;
  • Demographic, migration processes and employment;
  • Sociological studies and socio-economic processes;
  • Combating poverty and irrational distribution of income and resources;
  • Economic security and the fight against corruption;
  • Connection of sociological, economic and political processes;
  • transformation of management, marketing and entrepreneurship in the conditions of globalization,

The Journals self-archiving policy is presented on the eSSUIR (Electronic Sumy State University Institutional Repository), Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, SHERPA/RoMEO site.

The editors check the submitted materials for authenticity using the StrikePlagiarism software product to detect plagiarism. Materials submitted for publication in the journal “SocioEconomic Challenges” cannot be published in other scientific publications. Journal has a system of double-blind peer review. It means that reviewers and authors remain anonymous.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.

Before submitting the manuscript, we strongly recommend the authors to study the article submission guidelines and comply with these requirements.

Editorial Policy

To be published in the journal applicants should use the following template.

Articles should be from 3000 words in length. Articles are normally between 4000 and 6000 words long, but longer articles will be accepted if the topic demands this length.

All submissions should be formatted in the following way: typewritten in 11 Times New Roman, double-spaced, no page numbers, no page breaks, and with no tables or figures included within the text. Article files should be provided in Microsoft Word format.

When submitting an article for consideration, it is suggested to arrange it in several separate files: 1 ‒ Title page, 2 ‒ Main text of the paper, 3 – duplicate all graphic and illustrative materials and formulas in formats that can be edited (for example, Excel).

The payment for the scientific editing of the article is 1500 UAH according to the official exchange Rates by NBU. The payment does not depend on the size of an article. The journal is double-blind peer reviewed.
