Lingua Sinica is the first international Open Access journal dedicated to the study of languages and linguistics in China, including their various social and regional dialects. It publishes high quality papers based on contemporary linguistic theories and comprehensive generalizations derived from carefully collected language data with no preference as to any particular theoretic framework. Papers written in English covering significant linguistic issues in Chinese and the languages in China are welcomed.

The Current Open Access fee (Article-Processing Charge) for this journal is 300 Euro per article. The APC are now kindly sponsored by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University - Peking University Research Centre on Chinese Linguistics until further notice.
The journal operates a single-blind peer-review system, where the reviewers are aware of the names and affiliations of the authors, but the reviewer reports provided to the authors are anonymous.
All articles published are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. Further information about open access can be found at
