The International Journal of Voice Sciences (IJVS) is an open access academic journal focusing on voice research from the perspective of various disciplines.

• is an open access journal
• publishes original articles (studies, reviews, theoretical and methodological foundations and analyses) after they have passed the peer review process
• publishes articles in German or English. Title, keywords and abstract appear in both languages.
• has 4 Editors-in-Chief from Germany, Austria and Switzerland

The IJVS is aimed internationally at voice researchers in the fields of medicine, health professions, psychology, linguistics, education, and others.

The IJVS publishes original scientific articles (studies, reviews, theoretical and methodological foundations and analyses) on voice research topics in an interdisciplinary focus:

• clinical trials, assessments and outcomes
• papers on innovative research methodological issues
• patient perspective and participation in interdisciplinary care for voice disorders
• decision making science and building internal evidence in voice diagnostics - and therapy.

The IJVS is published by the Association for the Promotion of Science in Voice Research (VFW-Voice). The association thus promotes scientific publication activity in voice research.
