Bulletin of the Main Medical Library” has been published by the Main Medical Library since 1952. Its initiator and originator was Professor Stanislaw Konopka - the founder and first Director of the Library. The periodical was published until 2002. Initially, the bulletin was a list of acquisitions of the Main Medical Library, informing readers, mainly doctors, about the current literature in the field of medicine and related sciences.

In 2016, after a fourteen-year hiatus, “Bulletin” was resumed, with a changed layout and a new format. The journal is published twice a year in a digital format.
