Scientific Journal of Polish Naval Academy has been published since 1959 (in electronic version since 2004). Every year four volumes are published. In this Journal Authors publish their original and previously unpublished scientific articles in the area of technical sciences in English. All the articles contain Polish summaries and key words. All the articles are reviewed by two reviewers. The list of reviewers is published once a year. The Journal has online and printed versions.
Why subscribe and read
In the Journal one can find original scientific articles from technical fields, mainly Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geodesy and Cartography. ‘Scientific Journal of Polish Naval Academy’ is an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences for scientists and experts. Each new issue of the Journal contains articles which present high quality research results of Polish specialists and is an excellent source of professional knowledge for the recipients.
Why submit
Our Journal offers review procedure and short deadlines between sending of the article and approval for publication. All articles are available in Open Access.
The journal has no article processing charges (APCs) and submission processing charges.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
Plagiarism Policy
The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

All articles are reviewed. The Journal uses the double-blind review process. Submission of an article for review should be made by sending it to the editorial office SJ of PNA at: m.skora@amw.gdynia.pl
