Peer Review Process
CSEP utilizes a double peer review process to ensure the integrity and quality of published research. The editorial team initially screens each submitted manuscript to confirm it fits the journal's scope and aims. Manuscripts passing this initial check are then reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field, who remain anonymous to the authors. This process ensures an unbiased evaluation of the research's originality, relevance, structure, and overall contribution to the field.
Reviewers assess manuscripts using a comprehensive review form that covers criteria such as originality, relevance to the journal's scope, clarity of structure, quality of the abstract, and appropriateness of keywords. Additionally, reviewers evaluate the depth of the literature review, accuracy of references, soundness of research design, clarity of results and analysis, validity of conclusions, practical relevance, and the quality of language and style. Detailed feedback is provided to the authors, including recommendations to accept, request minor or major revisions, or reject the manuscript.
After receiving reviewer feedback, the editorial team decides based on the reviewers' recommendations. Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts for further evaluation. The goal is to facilitate a fair, rigorous, and transparent review process, ensuring that each published article meets the highest academic standards.
