It covers a large variety of medical specialties, such as: public health, health management, neurology, psychiatry, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, endocrinology, surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, laboratory, internal medicine, immunology, dentistry etc.
AMTSB accepts for publication review articles, original scientific articles, case reports from all areas of the medical field.

The aim of Acta Medica Transilvanica is to promote medical research, especially Romanian medical research and to stimulate and support the young generation of research physicians.
