<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<p>Human capital in corporate governance is composed of both individual knowledge, skills and capabilities, as well as the experience of employees and management staff. The translation of human capital, namely the knowledge, skills and degree of involvement of employees, into positive organizational results is an objective of performance management. This objective is based on the relations between management and subordinates regarding the establishment of future tasks, the ways of solving them, but also on the benefits granted following the materialization of the results. Starting from these aspects, the present work aims to analyze the link of intensity that is established between the creation of the knowledge asset and its effective use in solving the tasks. In this sense, we proceeded to identify those aspects related to the structural elements of human capital that refer to the knowledge asset, the accumulation of information and its transmission between employees, because a correct assessment of the level of employee involvement in increasing the general level of knowledge of the enterprise will have a positive and direct impact in the surplus of financial results.</p>
