The Didactic Configuration of a Flexible Manufacturing Cell for the Military APC Building Industry by Implementing the RRTR-Type Modular Serial Robot

In the present scientific paper, the author aims to highlight the principle design of a flexible manufacturing cell composed of several modules/workstations (degreasing, priming, painting, varnishing to which that of technical quality control is added), in order to process APC hulls, a cell that is to be serviced by a serial-modular industrial robot that will aim to maneuver the benchmarks to the devices of the technological operations to be carried out within it. The following aspects will be analyzed in stages: determining the working space of the robot included in the system by using geometric modeling, determining the speeds and accelerations related to the robot modules needed to handle benchmarks by using kinematic modeling, configuring the cell and determining its cost and that of the robot included in the system.
