<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<p>In this paper, we establish a fixed point theorem for generalized contraction mappings in <italic>b</italic>-metric spaces endowed with a digraph. As an application of this result, we obtain fixed points of cyclical mappings in the setting of <italic>b</italic>-metric spaces. Our results extend and generalize several existing results in the literature.</p>
