Vietnamese Journal of Legal Sciences

 The Vietnamese Journal of Legal Sciences (abbreviation VJLS) is a semi-annual journal that aims to provide an avenue for the publication of high quality, peer-reviewed research on wide-ranging areas of law and legal studies that are of contemporary interest. It was founded under the initiative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, a leading legal educational and training institution of Vietnam.  The VJLS provides a platform for national and cross-national discussion on topics in both public and private law, as well as interdisciplinary contributions that are relevant to legal studies. In particular, the VJLS focuses on publishing articles, book reviews, case commentaries and other such which analyse the recent development related to legal issues raised in Vietnam or other countries in the context of globalization and modernization. Therefore, the contributions related to the following topics will be highly encouraged:    Challenges and opportunities, as well as legal issues raised for Vietnam in particular, and developing countries in general, in the context of globalization and modernization  Legal issues and solutions in other countries in the context of globalization and modernization, as well as experience for Vietnam   The journal’s activities are supported by an extensive international editorial board, as well as devoted native-speaker language editors. Its papers are widely distributed, via printed as well as free-access digital versions, to lecturers, students, researchers and practitioners in the legal field.  Open Access Policy  Vietnamese Journal of Legal Sciences is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Authors retain their copyright and agree to license their articles.  Vietnamese Journal of Legal Sciences is a no-fee journal. Authors are not charged for the publication of their articles.  Archiving Policy  Vietnamese Journal of Legal Sciences is published in both online and hard-copy forms.  Archiving  Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.  Plagiarism Policy  The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.
