The Journal of Electrical Bioimpedance (JoEB) is an international, single blind peer reviewed, fast publication, non-commercial, open access journal. Original research papers, review articles, short communications, and educational material within all aspects of electrical bioimpedance are published. Short communications are brief reports of research findings (maximum 4 pages) where the demands for experiments, analysis and documentation are less rigorous than for a full research paper. It can for instance be early results from pilot studies or reports of new ideas that potentially are of interest to the journal’s readers.
The JoEB was established in 2010 by the Oslo Bioimpedance Group in Norway, as a specialized channel for publications related to the passive electrical properties of biomaterials. It has since been maintained as a not-for-profit journal with the main intention of offering new and established researchers in the field an easily accessible source of information.
We accept a wide range of papers that are related to electrical bioimpedance. Our aim is to cover the theory, experiments and applications that will typically be of interest to international bioimpedance students and researchers. Examples of relevant scientific topics can be (but are not limited to):
