Geochronometria is a multi-disciplinary journal on Methods and Applications of Absolute Chronology.
The title is owned by the Institute of Physics - Centre for Science and Education at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland.
We equally encourage the submission of papers devoted to developing methodology as to the applications.
The journal integrates scientists developing and applying methods of numerical chronology in various fields such as:
The methods employ, among others:
- OSL (optically stimulated luminescence),
- TL (thermoluminescence),
- EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance),
- stable isotopes,
- isotopes of natural decay series,
- varve chronology.
