<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The following notations associated with a mapping <italic>f : (X, τ) → (Y, σ)</italic> have been introduced in [D. S. Janković: <italic>A note on mappings of extremely disconnected spaces</italic>, Acta Math. Hungar. (1985), 83-92]: <disp-formula><inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="../graphic/v10127-009-0001-1#0001_graphic1.png"></inline-graphic></disp-formula> where <inline-formula><inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="../graphic/v10127-009-0001-1#0001_graphic2.png"></inline-graphic></inline-formula> for each <italic>x ∊ X.</italic> Interrelationships between well-known openness-type properties (a.o.S., w.o., -openness, a.o.W.) for <italic>f, f*, fα, fα</italic> are studied. </abstract>

(1985), 83-92]:   where  for each x ∊ X. Interrelationships between well-known openness-type properties (a.o.S., w.o.,   -openness, a.o.W.) for f, f*, fα, fα are studied.
