<abstract xml:lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The work deals with the association <italic>Homogyno sylvestris-Fagetum</italic> in the pre-Alpine region of Slovenia. The communitis were classified into a geographical race <italic>typica</italic> and divided into six subassociations: <italic>typicum</italic> subass. nova, <italic>mercurialetosum perennis</italic> subass. nova, <italic>festucetosum altissimae</italic> subass. nova, <italic>calamagrostietosum variae</italic> subass. nova, <italic>luzuletosum sylvaticae</italic> subass. nova and <italic>vaccinietosum myrtilli</italic> subass. nova. The results are shown in the analytical table, as well as in two diagrams.</p></abstract>
