“(Re)presentations of the Medical System in the Press”

This study identifies some aspects concerning the representation of the Romanian medical system in mass media. The analyse concentrates on investigative journalism, on reportage. I have chosen to examine a series of reportages of the Romanian press, starting from the articles of Brunea-Fox, to articles that are dedicated to Colectiv nightclub fire and the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodological directions which were chosen – the analyse of linguistic elements, the typology of the s, as well as the Romanian hospitals’ images – they will relieve the negative connotations of the representations of the medical system in mass media, in crises moments, and sanitary disasters.
