<p>Traditionally, the greatest weaknesses of earthen constructions are water infiltration and freeze-thaw cycles. The purpose of this article is to analyze the characteristics of the soil in order to use it as a building material and the ways to improve it using various additives in the mixture or the possible treatment of exposed surfaces.</p>
