The exploitation of natural gas deposits is subject to a great dilemma; as the gas reserve is exhausted, the demand for this fuel (in the area where the exploitation is located) increases. That is precisely why operations are needed to increase the final recovery factor and allocate new financial resources when the deposits no longer provide the quantities of gas required for demand or the pressure in the deposit is low enough to make exploitation profitable. In this article, the management principles of rehabilitating depleted gas deposits are stated, emphasizing the establishment of the minimum techniques for their control and exploration.
