<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<p>A total of 32 frogs of two species (<italic>Rana macrocnemis</italic>, <italic>Pelophylax ridibundus</italic>) that were dissected in some lectures in Ataturk University Science Faculty Biology Department were investigated parasitologically even after the lectures between 2008 and 2014. 9 digenean species (<italic>Cephalogonimus retusus</italic> [Cephalogonimidae]; <italic>Diplodiscus subclavatus</italic> [Paramphistomotidae]; <italic>Gorgodera cygnoides</italic>, <italic>Gorgoderina vitelliloba</italic> [Gorgoderidae]; <italic>Haplometra cylindracea</italic>, <italic>Haematoloechus variegatus</italic>, <italic>Opisthioglyphe ranae</italic>, <italic>Skrjabinoeces similis and Skrjabinoeces breviansa</italic> [Plagiorchiidae]), 3 acanthocephalan species (<italic>Acanthocephalus ranae</italic>, <italic>Centrorhynchus</italic> sp., <italic>Pomphorhynchus laevis</italic>) were found. All the parasites are the first record for Erzurum province, <italic>Cephalogonimus retusus</italic> and <italic>Skrjabinoeces similis</italic> are the first records of the parasite fauna of Turkey.</p></abstract>
