In shaping the quality of living environments for older adults, designers focus on creating optimal spatial conditions for daily functioning. However, it is important to recognise the potential of urban space to build local bonds and improve the health-promoting quality of life of older adults. The aim of the paper is to present an innovative concept of space therapy, as used in the Urban Health Pathway project, and to identify the potential of the living environment, spatial typologies, and architectural features that can be used to promote physical activity among older adults. This innovative tool can be a way to strengthen social bonds and reduce the risk of social exclusion in older adults. The article presents this solution as an effective tool for promoting physical activity among seniors. Furthermore, cultural aspects have been shown to play a significant role in engaging older adults in physical activity. The results of testing this concept and the prospects for its application in enhancing the quality of living environments are also discussed.
