The first report of Russian sturgeon, Acipenser gueldenstaedtii, in Polish Baltic waters dates to 1968. Since then there have been only seven observations of this species. New reports of five Russian sturgeons are presented. For the first time, three specimens of A. gueldenstaedtii were caught in the Puck Bay, while the other two fish were caught in fishing grounds on the western Polish Baltic coast.
