In this paper we determine the complex-valued solutions of the Kannappan-cosine functional equation <italic>g</italic>(<italic>xyz</italic>0) = <italic>g</italic>(<italic>x</italic>)<italic>g</italic>(<italic>y</italic>) <italic>− f</italic>(<italic>x</italic>)<italic>f</italic>(<italic>y</italic>), <italic>x, y ∈ S</italic>, where <italic>S</italic> is a semigroup and <italic>z</italic>0 is a fixed element in <italic>S.</italic>

In this paper we determine the complex-valued solutions of the Kannappan-cosine functional equation g(xyz0) = g(x)g(y) − f(x)f(y), x, y ∈ S, where S is a semigroup and z0 is a fixed element in S.
