With the rapid development of network technology, the application of artificial intelligence in the field of physical education is becoming increasingly widespread, To solve the problem that the redundant data of college students’ sports performance can be searched faster and more comprehensively, to predict and improve the sports quality of college students, this paper puts forward the research on the test model of college students’ sports performance based on the enhanced sparrow search algorithm. Based on the least squares support vector machine model theory, the sparrow search algorithm has been improved and applied to the college sports performance prediction data system for simulation experiments. The experimental results show that the algorithm is more accurate and faster than the traditional algorithm in predicting college sports performance, and its indicators are superior to the conventional algorithm research. It has important practical reference value.
