The Construction. Architecture section, as part of the Bulletin of the Polytechnic Institute of Iaşi founded in 1946, appears as separate publication since 1969. Currently, it is issued in both printed and electronic edition, on a quarterly basis, and is included in a library exchange program with other publications.

The Construction. Architecture section is a technical scientific journal which is devoted to original and interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed papers on theoretical and applied research within the broad field of civil engineering and architecture, which includes, but are not limited to, the following: building materials and equipment, composite structures, building equipment engineering, construction management, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, highway engineering, information technology, railroad engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, tunnel engineering, seismic hazard studies and methods for mitigation of earthquake risk, urbanism, landscape architecture, architecture and design.

At this time, there is no article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges and all content is freely available. The journal provides immediate open access to published content in support of the idea that free access to research helps support the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The review process of each submitted paper includes an anti-plagiarism test with specialized software and a blind independent review. The main publication language is English.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
